To demonstrate the mirror is solid glass, TAP the mirror on both sides with your wand, or a pen or pencil.

Show a silk scarf to the audience and use it to clean the mirror.

As you wipe the mirror the scarf starts to penetrate the center of the glass!

Halfway through, the mirror is turned around and shown on both sides with the scarf sticking out the opposite side!

Turn the mirror with the opposite side facing the audience as you continue to pull the scarf through and free of the mirror!

The penetration takes place right before the eyes of the audience. Both before and after the effect the audience sees a solid mirror.
