You display a wooden rod with 3 scarves threaded through holes in the rod. Two of the scarves are the same color.

You tell the audience the single odd colored silk is the acrobat & you can make it jump from end to end. They don't believe you, so offer to prove the acrobatic silk really does jump.

You pass the rod behind your back & show that the odd color scarf has jumped from very left side to the right side! You repeat this a 2nd time & the odd scarf has jumped back to it's original position!

Your audience goes crazy yelling: "You're just turning the rod around!" You insist you're not, but they don't believe you. You now tell them you're going to PROVE you are REALLY making the odd color scarf jump. ABRACADABRA! Immediately, the odd color scarf jumps to the CENTER of the rod!

The three scarves are removed from the rod - pulling them straight up and out!
